Senior Bid Writer Position

Our organization is seeking a seasoned bid writer to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in producing compelling, client-focused project specific bid proposals to secure contracts and business opportunities.

The successful bid writer will be responsible for writing and compiling bid documents across a range of construction projects including transport & infrastructure, water and energy ensuring that all required elements are included and aligned with client needs and tender specifications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, estimators, SHESQ resources and other departments to gather relevant information for the bid.
  • Research project-specific details, including site conditions, project scope, and client preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, and competitors to ensure compelling bid content.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Health and Safety, Quality or Environmental Management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' site experience is required.
  • A strong knowledge of construction practices, health and safety, sustainability, quality and environmental practices is essential.
  • A strong writing and technical ability, as well as Microsoft Word literacy, is also necessary.
