We are seeking a Fire Protection Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial fire protection systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Inspecting and testing fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Performing repairs and maintenance on fire protection equipment.
- Studying blueprints and graphics of buildings to understand system layouts.
- Working with piping systems, equipment, and materials used in the fire protection industry.
The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial fire protection systems.
- Inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
- Repair and replacement of fire protection equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in fire protection systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
- OSHA 30 or 10 certification.
- Certifications in sprinkler/standpipe systems, backflow, fire alarm, and portable fire extinguishers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
