Data Science Analyst Position

About Our Team
We are a dynamic team responsible for designing, establishing and supporting a portfolio of national clinical audits based on national priorities.
Our goal is to promote transparency and accountability in healthcare delivery by working with senior decision makers at both policy and operational levels within the Irish healthcare system.
The postholder will work within our Data Science team to provide analytical support to audits across our audit portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate data quality through implementation of strategies to improve data quality and provision of feedback to stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal and external personnel to ensure that analytical requirements are captured, provide statistical outputs and responses to data requests from stakeholders.
- Maintain data science documentation, contribute to quality control checks and participate in meetings.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold a relevant primary degree in a field of study with a strong data element.
- Practical experience using a statistical analysis package and data analysis tool.
- Demonstrable understanding of datatypes and descriptive statistical methods.
