Real Estate Investment Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Real Estate Investment Associate to join our team. As a key member of our investment management function, you will play a critical role in tracking, reporting, and managing the performance of our funds and portfolios.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading fund/portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting, including sourcing portfolio updates from our operations team, comparing updates to plan, and reporting on plans to address gaps as well as updates in performance at asset-level and fund-level to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead fund/portfolio monitoring, analysis, and reporting, including data cleaning, analyzing, and presenting conclusions to senior management.
- Support the development of investment strategy and fundraising through preparation of investor presentations and research reports.
- Collaborate with our operations team to identify and capitalize on operational or investment opportunities for our assets under management.
- Manage overall investment risk and provide support to the investment manager on acquisitions and dispositions.
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related field.
- Experience in real estate investment, portfolio management, or asset management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive tasks forward without needing sustained direction.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment principles, including financial return metrics, time value of money, capital expenditure planning, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with internal and external partners.
