Job Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining programs and processes to ensure high-quality products and compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

This includes identifying deviations from accepted practices, exercising judgment to evaluate impact, and determining appropriate actions. The successful candidate will also participate in QA review and approval of artwork, and may assist with compliance audits and walkthroughs as required.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within a QA role, and proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in application of QA principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards, and working knowledge of FDA / EMEA standards and quality systems.

Additional requirements include basic knowledge of OPEX Lean tools and root cause analysis tools used for identifying and correcting deviations, audit and investigation skills, report writing skills, good verbal and technical writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 3+ years of relevant experience in a GMP environment-related field and a BS degree. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but not required.
