Job Description:

The Dishwasher will be responsible for washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment. They will ensure proper procedures are followed for cleaning and storing items, adhering to all applicable health and safety codes.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
  • Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties according to established policies and procedures.
  • Scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other staff members.
  • Promote positive relations with residents, family members, and guests.

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing for long periods. Employees must communicate effectively, sit, stand, walk, and handle equipment and objects. Occasionally, reaching with hands and arms is necessary. The role involves reviewing detailed documents and reading screens. Employees may lift/move up to 25 pounds occasionally. The environment involves moderate noise and appropriate interaction with others.
