Lead Electrical Estimator Position

About the Role:

This leadership position requires full ownership of high-stakes bidding processes. The successful candidate will oversee the estimation process, manage teams, and represent the company in critical client meetings.

Kirby Group is a leading developer of major power infrastructure across Ireland and Europe. We are seeking an exceptional estimator who can deliver accuracy and commercial acumen in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the entire estimation process, including managing drawings, documents, suppliers, subcontractors, and spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with the Estimating Manager to standardize our procedures.
  • Mentor junior estimators to enhance their skills and experience.
  • Participate in commercial discussions during adjudication proceedings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in complex electrical or transmission and distribution tenders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients.
  • Experience in managing teams, processes, and bids.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with engineers, builders, and finance professionals.
