BIM Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to contribute to a dynamic design and engineering team on various complex construction projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using BIM software tools.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to support project objectives.
  • Lead weekly model coordination meetings and facilitate efficient collaboration among team members.
  • Detect and report model clashes using advanced BIM coordination tools.
  • Oversee incoming and shared models to ensure accuracy and compatibility.
  • Generate visual content such as renders and technical drawings for reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems within the BIM environment.
  • Deliver high-quality as-built documentation and asset information models.
  • Support live and tender projects with BIM input, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
  • Maintain company health, safety, and quality protocols throughout all projects.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in BIM coordination with Revit and Navisworks.
  • A strong background in mechanical or electrical services coordination is required.
  • Proficiency in BIM software tools and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • A proven track record of resolving coordination issues efficiently is crucial.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is vital.
  • Familiarity with producing COBie and Asset Information Models is advantageous.
  • Experience in producing AutoCAD schematics and 3D visual content is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with working from point cloud data is an added advantage.
  • A background in mechanical/electrical trades is highly desirable.
