Diagnostic Science Expert

Cpl Healthcare and the HSE are seeking highly skilled Medical Scientists to fill Senior Medical Scientist positions across various disciplines in acute hospitals in Dublin, Cavan and Drogheda.

The successful candidates will join our team in the following locations:

  • Connolly Hospital, Dublin
  • Our Lady's of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co. Louth

We require experienced Medical Scientists to provide expert leadership and support to our diagnostic teams.

This permanent position offers:

  • A competitive salary range between €66,667 - €88,021 depending on experience
  • A 35-hour working week

  • Generous annual leave (30 days) and public holiday (10 days) entitlements per year

International applicants can benefit from the HSE international relocation package which includes:

  • A permanent contract including sponsorship of a critical skills employment permit for non-EEA / UK applicants
  • An excellent onboarding package to the value of €4,160 (EU applicants) / €4,700 (non-EU applicants) towards flights and accommodation for international applicants
  • Reimbursement of CORU recognition and registration fees to the value of €510
  • Induction and orientation program on arrival

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognised qualification as Medical Scientist with CORU registration or eligibility for same
  • An equivalent qualification at minimum Level 9 validated by the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM)
  • A minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory since qualifying as a medical scientist in your area of specialisation
