About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Financial Controller to join our team at Steering Point. As a senior member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business, ensuring robust financial controls, delivering key reports, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Management of the accounting function.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, P&L, full analysis, and board commentary.
  • Organisation and attendance of quarterly board meetings.
  • Organisation and attendance of weekly management team meetings.
  • Overseeing bank management, including loan applications and liaison with account managers.
  • Management of a multi-currency environment, including forecasts and cashflows.
  • Oversight of debtors and creditors ledgers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Managing cut-off procedures for all sales and purchase transactions.
  • Project accounting, ensuring financial oversight of company initiatives.
  • Leadership of the annual budgeting process.
  • Development and implementation of KPIs to track key financial metrics and P&L performance.
