**About the Role:** We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Enterprise Risk Management to lead our Risk Management Function for New Ireland. As a key member of the Risk Leadership Team, you will be responsible for supporting the CRO in implementing the risk strategy for New Ireland.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the New Ireland Senior Management team, Board, and BOI Group Risk Function. You will also collaborate with the Head of Compliance, Head of Operational Risk, Head of Financial Risk, and Head of Legal to support the CRO in implementing the risk strategy for New Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in writing papers to a Board standard.
- Support the CRO in setting and driving the risk agenda for New Ireland, including developing the Risk Management Framework, policies, and strategy as a key member of the Risk Leadership Team.
- Prepare and ensure approval of the Company's Risk Appetite Statement, and articulate the key aspects to partners across the business.
- Act as the primary advisor to the CRO and executive team on enterprise risks, ensuring a comprehensive view of the Company's risk landscape.
- Partner with senior leadership to embed risk management principles and practices into strategic decision-making and operational processes.
