This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading nursing home provider and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting their physical and emotional well-being.

Job Description

You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care and promote independence. Your duties will include assisting residents with daily personal care, supporting them with mobility and mealtime assistance, monitoring and reporting changes in their health or behaviour, maintaining accurate records and documentation, promoting a safe and clean environment, and providing companionship and emotional support.

Requirements
  • A QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – minimum of 2 modules completed
  • Previous experience in a care setting preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
