Principal Designer

Our team is seeking a skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our dynamic organization. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with clients to deliver high-quality designs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Review and provide feedback on documents and designs prepared by junior engineers.
- Develop preliminary designs and reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software and AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications for construction projects.
- Procure site investigation, building, and civil engineering contracts.
- Assist project managers in preparing tender documents and conducting tender assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D and an aptitude to develop skills in AutoCAD 3D and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
- Capability to develop skills in other software packages such as MicroDrainage, Microsoft Access, and GIS software packages like ArcGIS and MapInfo.
- Working knowledge of construction contracts and relevant software packages.
