We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Investment Consultant and Financial Advisor.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to embark on a rewarding career in investment consulting and financial advising. As a Trainee Investment Consultant and Financial Advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert advice to corporate and individual clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Service:

    You will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering high-quality services, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Investment Strategy:

    You will work closely with clients to develop personalized investment strategies that meet their unique needs and goals.

  • Fund Research and Manager Selection:

    You will conduct thorough research on various investment funds and managers to identify suitable options for clients.

  • Performance Monitoring Reports:

    You will prepare detailed reports on client investments, highlighting performance metrics and providing actionable insights.

  • Business Development:

    You will support the development of new business initiatives, identifying opportunities to grow the business and expand our client base.

Requirements

  • Education:

    A Bachelor's degree in a numerate or economic area is required.

  • Skillset:

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent presentation and organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Professional Qualifications:

    Partially completed QFA qualification would be an advantage, as well as experience working in a financial planning consultancy, pension consultancy, or insurance brokerage.

Further Education

The successful candidate is expected to study to become a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). A comprehensive study package will be provided.
