Buttimer Engineering is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical structures and access platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Design and develop mechanical structures and access platforms using software such as TEKLA Structures & Tedds (Solid Works or FEA software)\
  • Review and analyze client specifications in terms of company's quotation, scope of supply and commercial terms\
  • Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, design submittals and handover documentation\
  • Perform Design Reviews with client/production/engineering department as required\
  • Prepare Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) for projects including supporting FATs and commissioning as required\
  • Work with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met\
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on projects\
  • Oversee project quality control and project health and safety matters\\/ul\application Requirements: An updated copy of your CV.
