About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Respite and Residential Services for Children and Adults. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards, and implementing best practice in disability services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the service, ensuring that it operates within HIQA standards and best practice guidelines.
  • Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of care staff.
  • Service Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of service users and staff, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in Applied Social Care or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a team leader or supervisory role in the disability sector.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, proficiency in HIQA standards, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
