Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to grow their career in a supportive environment.

About the Role

The Junior Health & Safety Advisor will be a key part of our site teams, helping to embed a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning. You will work closely with experienced HSE professionals, gaining hands-on experience while supporting the delivery of best-in-class health, safety, and environmental standards across our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a visible and positive presence on site—leading by example every day
  • Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental plans
  • Carry out site inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in incident investigations and help develop practical solutions
  • Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure compliance
  • Stay up to date with legislation and best practices, sharing knowledge with your team
  • Deliver or support training sessions to promote awareness and engagement
  • Attend start-up meetings and contribute to supply chain safety discussions
  • Support the preparation of health and safety reports and documentation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for health and safety and a desire to grow in the field
  • A relevant qualification such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 4 / EFQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Awareness or training in Temporary Works, Incident Investigation, Lifting operations (BS 7121 / IS361), CDM / PSDP / PSCS regulations
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
