Senior Genetic Advisor for Childhood, Adolescent and Young Adult Cases

Serving as a senior genetic counsellor with expertise in childhood, adolescent and young adult cases is a demanding yet highly rewarding role.
About The Role:This position offers increased access to genetic testing and counselling services for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand the medical facts of each patient's case including diagnosis, probable course of disorder and available management options.
- Recognize the impact of heredity on the disorder and assess the risk of recurrence in specified relatives.
- Support patients and families in making informed decisions about dealing with risk of recurrence by providing one-off and ongoing support.
- A Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or an equivalent overseas qualification recognized for professional registration.
- At least 3 years' full-time equivalent post-qualification clinical experience.
