Job Title: Senior Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead our applications development team.

About the Role:
  • This is a key leadership position responsible for designing and analyzing complex systems, products, and subsystems/circuits to meet specifications, deadlines, and quality goals.
  • The successful candidate will diagnose issues of diverse scope with design, field performance, reliability, and test yields of products, recommending and implementing corrective actions as needed.

The role involves regular use of electronic test equipment and may include work with high-voltage systems, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required to support internal and external customers or collaborate with global teams.

Key Qualifications:
  • Possess strong technical skills, with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies/procedures.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Able to receive less instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading team members and influencing/negotiating in complex situations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and 5-10 years of experience as a professional engineer. A postgraduate qualification (Masters or PhD) in a relevant field is an advantage.
