We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Carlow. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and eager to progress in a collaborative, well-equipped setting.
This role offers an excellent mix of surgical nursing, inpatient monitoring, and client interaction. You will be encouraged to pursue your interests and contribute to patient care in a meaningful, hands-on way.
- Assist in surgery, monitor anaesthesia, and maintain surgical safety
- Deliver nurse consultations and provide client education on preventative health
- Monitor and care for hospitalised patients, administering medications and supporting recovery
About the Role
This practice operates from a spacious, modern facility and is fully equipped with gas anaesthesia, digital radiography, in-house haematology and biochemistry analyzers, dental suite, ultrasound, and microscopy.
The current team includes 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 5 support staff. The practice culture emphasizes professional development, teamwork, and quality care.
