Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacy technician to join our team in supporting the pharmacist in caring for the community through dispensing prescriptions and advising patients.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Preparation and dispensing of medicines under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Ordering and controlling stock levels of medicines, maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Blister pack preparation, adhering to quality standards and guidelines.
  • Tracking reimbursement claims, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Pharmacy technician course or minimum 2 years experience working as a pharmacy technician, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
  • Over-the-counter medicine course, showcasing understanding of medication management.
  • Previous dispensary experience, highlighting ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Friendly, hardworking, and team-oriented, with a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
