Pastry Executive

We are currently recruiting a skilled Pastry Executive for our establishment. The ideal candidate will display high levels of creativity, passion for pastry and fine dining.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen's pastry section, ensuring the highest level of quality and presentation standards are met.

Key responsibilities include:

• To maintain accurate records of food stock levels, waste management and HACCP procedures
• To train junior staff on recipes, presentation skills and cooking techniques
• To assist in other areas when required, promoting a positive team culture
• To ensure all fridges are cleaned and tidy daily, adhering to health and safety guidelines
• To pass on relevant information to the sous chef on duty and the next shift before leaving

Requirements for the role include:

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar position
• A valid work permit
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and targets
• Passion for pastry and fine dining, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
