About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Legal Secretary to join a dynamic and busy legal team. This role offers a great opportunity to work across a variety of legal areas, providing high-quality support.

The ideal candidate will have excellent typing and MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiarity with legal terminology and processes. Previous experience as a legal secretary or legal administrator is essential.

This role may evolve depending on your skills and the needs of the team — so flexibility and a proactive approach will be valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, formatting, and proofreading a range of legal documents and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence">
  • Transcribing dictations">
  • Scheduling meetings, diary management, and organising court dates or appointments">
  • Communicating professionally with clients, courts, and third parties">
  • Supporting in document preparation for court hearings or transactions">
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all legal and data protection standards">
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing, and legal aid paperwork where applicable">

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary or legal administrator">
  • Excellent typing and MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)">
