Secure Access Solutions Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team on a day rate contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering secure and scalable Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions across internal applications.

The Role:

  • Deliver secure and scalable SSO and MFA solutions using PingFederate, Microsoft Entra ID, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with application owners to enhance authentication setups and ensure secure design decisions.
  • Implement and troubleshoot authentication flows, including client credentials and token-based access for APIs.
  • Advise on modern access control strategies, MFA injection points, token lifecycle management, and serverless authentication scenarios.
  • Conduct security testing, validate flows, and ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience with SSO integration & support.
  • Full stack development experience (front end and back end).
  • Experience with Python, C++, Java/J2EE.
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
  • Cybersecurity certification such as CISSP.
  • Deep expertise with PingFederate and PingAccess.
  • Strong understanding of SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, REST, SOAP.
  • Knowledge of MFA implementation and cloud directory services like Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Solid foundation in networking, OS, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with security testing frameworks and tools.
