Senior credit analysts will play a vital role in providing credit ratings of structured products that are backed by pools of assets. The team is comprised of experts who will report to the Analytical Manager, Structured Finance, and work closely with several highly experienced industry specialists. The successful applicant will enhance our ability to effectively serve clients by demonstrating outstanding analytical excellence and the capacity to provide relevant, insightful, and compelling analysis.
Responsibilities
* Review documents, consider the legal dimensions of transaction structures, develop an understanding of and apply relevant rating criteria, assess the credit profile of collateral pools, work with financial and cash flow models to stress test the structures and enhancement levels under various economic scenarios.* Independently prepare and present analysis and recommendations to credit committees.* Be the primary analytical contact for bankers, issuers, and investors to resolve any analytical inquiries that may arise during the rating process.* Conduct analyses on complicated SF transactions with appropriate risk factor identification, measurement, and presentation.* Work closely with analysts to provide research and analysis for the Structured Finance team.* Analyse data and review documentation for the analytical team.* Review and run cash flow models.
Requirements
* A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related subject/Pursuing post-graduate studies/CFA.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Good attention to detail.* Demonstrable analytical work experience in the financial services industry and good numerical skills, with an ability to synthesize and interpret large volumes of data.* Solid analytical capability, team player, and good time management skills.* Able to multi-task and meet projects with a tight time frame.* Self-starter with a proactive attitude and effective team player.* Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-changing, global, and regulated environment.* Fluent in English with good writing skills to prepare professional analyses and reports.* Good/advanced knowledge of Python and/or R is a distinctive advantage.
