Job Role

We are seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of various types of air conditioning and heating systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Install and commission air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on these systems.
  • Develop and implement self-perform maintenance tasks using the CMMS/CAFM system.
  • Implement reactive maintenance as required, including responding to management and closing tickets through the client's online system.
  • Implement preventative measures to reduce equipment downtime and maintain business continuity.
  • Create and maintain accurate asset lists and historic records.
  • Conduct research and development of proposals to improve HVAC system performance.
  • Review third-party risk assessments and methods statements and award permits through the permitting system.
  • Manage onsite minor works projects.
  • Assist project teams on large-scale refurbishments, fit-outs or new builds as required.
  • Attend client meetings as required by the Contract Manager.
  • Maintain and clean the plant areas.
  • Complete weekly building walkthroughs to identify electrical issues.
  • Provide technical support on bank holidays on a rota basis.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A National Craft Card and Fgas certification.
  • Availability to work weekends with paid overtime.
  • Participation in an on-call rota with an allowance provided.
