About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Support Professional to join our team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital. As a key member of our Interdisciplinary Team, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to deliver an effective Radiology Service within the rehabilitation programme.

The successful candidate will work independently under the direction and supervision of the Radiographers and report to the Radiography Services Manager (RSM). This is a part-time permanent position, with 24 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Radiographers in delivering high-quality radiology services
  • Provide administrative and clerical assistance as required
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Hold a QQI Level 5 qualification or comparable relevant equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience as a Radiography Assistant or similar role in a hospital or rehabilitation environment
  • Evidence of experience working with patients in a Health or Caring Service
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Show ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
