About the Position

Sourcing Strategy and Innovation Manager is a key role at Verizon Communications, reporting directly to the VP of Global Sourcing. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

As a senior manager, you will oversee a team of professionals in developing business cases to deliver innovative ways of working and achieving outsized value. You will also communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide input into Strategy Review decks and executive-level overviews.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to influence across all areas of the organization. You will need to demonstrate critical thinking skills and remain curious to evolve knowledge of the business, industry, and competitive trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee a team of professionals in developing business cases to deliver innovative ways of working and achieving outsized value.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sourcing/Procurement or related field or relevant work experience.
