Electrical Installation Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer or Electrician to join our engineering team. This role involves electrical design, site supervision, and project management for projects in the processing industry.

The Job Description

This is a key role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical design, planning, budgeting, purchasing, installing, and commissioning electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive electrical designs adhering to regulations, standards, and specifications.
  • Plan, design, budget, purchase, install, and commission electrical systems and components for projects.
  • Oversee site activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and manage the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Work with motor control systems, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning.
  • Support ATEX design and installation; experience in this area is an advantage.
  • Collaborate effectively with third parties, contractors, and end users to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work independently to manage schedules and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of projects.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or be a qualified Electrician who is interested in developing into a Project Management orientated role.
  • Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing experience, preferably in the processing or related industries.
  • Familiarity with electrical design practices, regulations, and standards.
  • Proven experience with motor control, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • ATEX design and installation experience (advantage).
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Full driving license (valid in Ireland, EU, or UK).
