This is a specific purpose contract for 6-9 months, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional resident-focused care.
About Beechwood Nursing Home:
Located in the picturesque village of Leighlinbridge, Beechwood Nursing Home is a purpose-built residential home situated on the banks of the River Barrow. Our home provides a warm and welcoming environment, where every resident is valued and respected for who they are.
We strive to maintain the highest standards of care, ensuring that our residents receive personalized support and attention. Our staff are passionate about providing high-quality care, and we prioritize their ongoing training and development.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of quality care, adhering to HIQA regulations. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for residents, as well as day-to-day supervision of care staff.
To succeed in this role, you will require excellent clinical, leadership, and organizational skills, as well as strong communication and people skills. A sound decision-making ability and interest in caring for older adults are essential.
