Job Description:
In this leadership role, you will oversee the Quality Engineering group to ensure effective execution of key processes and systems. The primary objective is to manage and supervise a team of Senior Quality Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Complaint Investigators to drive quality projects in compliance with regulatory procedures.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, IT, Engineering, and Regulatory. A proven track record of pursuing continuous self-improvement and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position. Additionally, the ability to maintain attention to detail and exhibit proactive approach to developing and improving Cook's Quality system is vital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive all assigned Quality Engineering projects ensuring timely completion in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Manage project activities to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Represent the team at key review meetings and build effective relationships with other functions.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to maintain a proactive approach to Quality system development.
  • Ensure timely resolution of in-house or external Quality issues.
  • Support the Internal Audit, Supplier Audit, and Regulatory Audit Programmes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires a third-level qualification in Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline, along with 6+ years of experience working with ISO13485, FDA QSR, and Medical Device Regulations. Proven knowledge and experience in validation, statistics, and problem-solving are also essential. Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation skills are necessary to excel in this position.
