Job Title: Senior Clinical Laboratory Operations Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Clinical Laboratory Operations Manager at RTP Laboratories Ltd in Dublin. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the Medical Testing Laboratory, manage staff, ensure quality control and compliance with regulations, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Medical Testing Laboratory
  • Manage laboratory staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless laboratory services
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a clinical laboratory setting
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
  • Proficiency in relevant laboratory information systems and technology
  • Professional certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is a plus; CORU Registration is a MUST
  • At least 7 years full-time clinical experience as a Medical Scientist in a clinical diagnostic laboratory, with 2 years in a promotional post (e.g., Medical Scientist, Senior or Specialist)
