Job Overview

The Staff Nurse role at Avista involves working as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can adopt a holistic approach to ensure the well-being and empowerment of service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assess and evaluate the needs of service users, identifying opportunities for skill development and personal growth
  • To develop and implement individualised support plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each service user
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user information

Requirements

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Full clean Irish manual driving licence
  • Experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
