
Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot product functionality issues related to fixture, tooling, and process problems.
- Oversee all production equipment on site, contributing to long-term departmental objectives with a strategic engineering perspective.
- Lead production line setup for new product introductions and coordinate with operations for readiness.
- Create and implement work instructions, process flow charts, and training materials for production teams.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for change management, MCO/ECO/PIM using Agile systems.
- Manage procuring and implementing new capital equipment for capacity or product launches.
- Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities for new product introductions to ensure robust process design.
- Coordinate and perform maintenance and calibration procedures for production equipment.
- Collaborate with teams to determine manufacturing requirements, maintain producibility, and ensure on-time delivery of material to demand requirements.
- Set up production test and functional test in production.
- Identify and analyze manufacturing problems and provide solutions; characterize equipment functionality to improve production efficiency.
- Develop and approve manufacturing processes for new product introductions and sustaining current production.
- Foster partnerships with internal customers and drive Supply Chain, Product Development, Operations, and Quality relationships.
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing process test and capability data (yields, cycle times, trends).
- Support Value Analysis/Value Engineering projects and workshops.
- Maintain production-relevant documentation such as work instructions and process flow charts.
- Communicate effectively across all levels, set objectives, drive results, and work cross-functionally.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within Manufacturing/Factory Operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Excel and analytical skills; experience with Oracle DV, Power BI, Excel is desirable.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and work cross-functionally; strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with RFID is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Quality processes/tools (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) is a plus but not required.
