Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, team player with an analytical mindset to join our world-class information security team at State Street International. As a Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for performing research into cyber threat intelligence reports and developing plans to categorize and prioritize efforts to identify gaps in controls, processes, and/or procedures for the purpose of initiating remediation efforts.
You will work closely with other analysts to review the categorization and prioritization of security reports and best-practice recommendations, based on trends with State Street cyber security risks. This role requires a strong understanding of current security threats and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, as well as experience with common enterprise security tools such as SIEM (Splunk), EDR (Crowd Strike, Carbon Black, or Tanium), Vulnerability Management (Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7).
Responsibilities:
- Performing research into cyber threat intelligence reports
- Developing plans to categorize and prioritize efforts to identify gaps in controls, processes, and/or procedures
- Reviewing the categorization and prioritization of security reports and best-practice recommendations
- Collaborating with other analysts to develop reports and articulate findings and recommendations
Requirements:
- Experience with common enterprise security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and Vulnerability Management
- Strong understanding of current security threats and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
- Ability to follow processes and contribute to continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
