A civil BIM designer is required to join our team to execute architectural, civil and structural (ACS) building information modeling (BIM) models.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining various ACS BIM models across different jurisdictions. They will also create concept designs based on existing AWS templates for regions, enabling consultants to start specific projects using the most up-to-date information.
- Executing/maintaining ACS BIM models.
- Creating concept designs based on existing AWS templates for regions.
- Reviewing consultants' structural & civil models to ensure they meet AWS standards and follow the Exchange Information Requirements (EIR).
- Working with design consultants on in-flight projects in multiple geographical locations, from design through construction.
- Providing guidance on AWS requirements.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or commercial civil model and drawing production of critical facilities/large industry. They should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D for producing civil engineering models and drawings.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Civil Engineering with familiarity with EMEA or APAC building codes, as well as understanding of mechanical and electrical services in data centers and experience directly related to data center design and construction.
Requirements- 8+ years cumulative experience in industrial or commercial civil model and drawing production of critical facilities/large industry.
- 8+ years experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D for producing civil engineering models and drawings.
- 5+ years experience working with multidiscipline teams in a structural coordination role.
