Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Safety and Compliance Officer to join our EHS team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and support to the EHS team on compliance matters;
- Develop and implement EHS training programs for employees and contractors;
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor EHS performance and identify areas for improvement;
- Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence;
- Prepare reports to management and regulatory agencies on EHS performance and trends.
Requirements:
- Technical Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field;
- Post-grad EHS qualification preferred;
- 7+ years' experience in EHS, preferably in a highly regulated industry;
- Proven track record of success in the EHS sector;
- Strong understanding of EHS topics and innovative approach to compliance;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
