Job Title

Cell Culture Specialist

  • Conduct routine cell-based potency assays.

  • Support technical transfer, qualification, and validation of new cell-based assays.

  • Perform maintenance and propagation of antibiotic-free cell cultures.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain and propagate high-quality cell cultures for bioassay applications.

  • Evaluate mammalian cells for viability, morphology, and count.

  • Process test samples in laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

  • Update current standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with laboratory teams to investigate and resolve issues related to cell culture and bioassays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant life science discipline (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry).

  • Previous experience in scientific research, preferably in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environment.

  • Hands-on experience with aseptic cell culture techniques.

  • Basic understanding of regulatory guidelines related to biologics testing.
