Cyber Coordination Centre Role:
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and response on our SIEM solution, primarily focusing on security incident identification, prioritization, escalation, and directed response support functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first response support by analysing alerts and gathering information about potential incidents or vulnerabilities
- Conducting incident analysis and responding using security runbooks and playbooks, utilizing your own initiative and skills
- Reviewing and tuning alerts, proposing automation tasks to increase efficiency
- Mentoring and coaching within the team on new procedures/playbooks developed
- Escalating incidents as needed, for further immediate action
Skills/Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having a strong interest in Cyber Security, excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as a team member. A background in IT admin/support roles is ideal, but not necessary; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are valued.
