About the Role

The Risk and Compliance Professional will report to the CEO and will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. You will also conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to management on how to mitigate identified risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure effective risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on risk management matters, including training and awareness programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of risk-related activities and provide reports to management as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that the credit union's policies and procedures are compliant.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in risk management and compliance, with experience working in a financial services organization. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
