HIS Innovations Group Ireland is seeking a motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to the company's semiconductor customer base, ensuring fulfillment of all product lifecycle commitments, and maintaining compliance with service contracts and agreements.
You will be part of a global team, with colleagues supporting customer sites across various regions.
This role involves working closely with clients, demonstrating a high standard of customer service by adhering to safety protocols, installing, maintaining, and servicing third-party components integrated into HIS systems, collaborating with customers and engineering teams, and communicating clearly regarding customer requests and completed tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a technical certificate or degree in an Electro/Mechanical or Chemical discipline, with previous experience in an engineering service environment, preferably from a chemical, vacuum, or semiconductor background.
The job requires excellent customer interfacing and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and test equipment such as meters, hand tools, and power tools.
The successful candidate will be able to work in confined spaces, lift 50 pounds without assistance, and complete training to work at height using approved fall protection equipment.
They must also be physically fit to walk long distances and willing to work outside normal working hours, including nights and weekends as required.
