Job Title: Junior Site Engineer

At Vision Contracting, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Site Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:">
  • Assist with accurate site setting out, including levels, measurements, and reference points for construction work.">
  • Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications.">
  • Conduct inspections and maintain quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.">
  • Prepare daily site reports, maintain site records, and support documentation required for handovers.">
  • Promote and adhere to all health and safety guidelines on-site.">
  • Assist in managing site materials, deliveries, and resource allocation.">
  • Provide technical advice to site operatives and address site engineering queries.">
  • Support the Senior Site Engineer with project planning, technical solutions, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in construction techniques, materials, and design principles. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to problem-solve efficiently.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, surveying software, and MS Office Suite.">

Education and Experience:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a site engineering role (internship or work placement experience is highly desirable).

A full driving license is essential. We also prefer candidates who hold Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
