Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Utilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical discipline and be proficient in Medium and Low Voltage electrical systems.

The Utilities Technician will be responsible for managing and maintaining the utilities supplies and work systems for the plant, including borehole and mains water supply, LV electrical supply, gas supply, compressed air network system, steam generator, CHP unit, back-up generators, asset protection system, fire alarm system, gas and CO detection system, BMS, EV charging stations, lighting systems, and HVAC systems.

The successful candidate will also assist the Health Safety team in carrying out risk assessments of new existing machines and ensure training is rolled out to the Maintenance Team, identify and report anomalies and/or deviations from accepted standards, manage service contracts for site utilities, and provide technical input into system optimisation, equipment development, and new equipment selection.
