Job Scope:

The face of our company to our customers is the key role in our business. This requires generating and closing sales by ensuring a great experience in-store for our customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring every customer to our stores gets a personal and positive service experience.
  • Having a full knowledge of our product catalogue and current promotions.
  • Engaging with and profiling our customers to offer the best products for our customer's needs and optimise sales.
  • Playing an active and participative role in helping to ensure our sustainability goals are achieved, with all policies and initiatives implemented.
  • Using all the tools we have in the store including Assisted Selling, Safesize, e-receipts, radio systems etc.
  • Ensuring that the store & support areas are clean, tidy and easy to navigate.
  • Replenishing stock and maintaining shelves, rails, fixtures and displays to a high standard with our fantastic products and specialist brands.
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock handling.
  • Being security conscious within the store and stock rooms – monitoring potential shoplifters and following security guidelines to deter theft and protect stock.
  • Taking responsibility for personal development and actively seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Operating till and handling financial transactions.
Requirements:

A warm, friendly and engaging personality is essential. Experience in a customer service role with face-to-face customer contact is highly desirable. Great communication skills – outgoing, energetic, and focused on delivering a great customer experience are required. Initiative to undertake additional tasks as required is also important.
