Background Team Lead Job Description

This is a key leadership role in the Background Team, responsible for guiding and supporting team members to achieve high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a Background Artist, excellent drawing skills, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Deadline Management: Schedule work to meet deadlines, notify the production manager of any potential delays, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with directors, producers, and other teams to ensure seamless project execution, provide updates on progress, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Artistic Direction: Review storyboards and animatics, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance overall project quality.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and support team members, allocate tasks effectively, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Background Artist, preferably in a similar industry or field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, excellent drawing skills, and proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
