Job Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated and organized individual who is able to work independently as part of a structured team. They should have experience working in a similar environment and be able to adapt to new situations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working flexibly between departments, including housekeeping and catering, on a day-to-day basis
  • Assisting with food preparation and meal distribution to patients
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety guidelines within the hospital
  • Performing daily tasks within designated cleaning areas
  • Demonstrating respect and professionalism towards colleagues and patients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Manual Handling certification
  • HACCP certification
  • Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and Child First Course
