At Cpl Healthcare, we are seeking an exceptional Consultant Cardiologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consultant-led services and managing a comprehensive cardiology service.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in their specialist area and possess evidence-based clinical knowledge. They will also demonstrate effective planning and organizing skills, as well as strong communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely. Additionally, they should be able to facilitate and manage groups through the learning process and provide constructive feedback to encourage learning.

In this role, you will work closely with a large multidisciplinary team, participating in an on-call rota. You will be expected to meet the objectives of delivering high-quality consultant-led services and to manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of a comprehensive cardiology service. To be considered eligible, applicants must be registered as a Specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the Specialty of Cardiology. They must also demonstrate awareness and appreciation of the service user and possess leadership and team management skills, including the ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members. Further, they should be able to empathize with and treat patients, relatives, and colleagues with dignity and respect. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate evidence of computer skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
