Job Opportunity: Manager Trainee Role

The position entails assisting in the day-to-day operations of a busy store.

This includes managing a team, stock ordering and control, and ensuring the store is ready for business each day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Senior Manager in maintaining high standards across all areas of the store.
  • Overseeing up to 40 staff members when on duty.
  • Ordering and controlling stock inventory.
  • Ensuring daily store readiness according to required standards.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of two years' experience as a trainee manager within a large supermarket environment.
  2. Previous experience in a Super Valu/Centra setting is highly desirable.
  3. Completion of HACCP training.
  4. Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.

As a full-time employee working approximately 45 hours per week, five days over seven including weekends and public holidays, this role offers a stable work schedule.

Working Environment: Our store covers an area of about 16,000 square feet with around 90-100 staff members. You will be part of a management team focused on delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
