About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Property Underwriter to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting property insurance and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and underwrite property risks, examining exposures, coverage limits, and pricing to achieve profitable outcomes.
  • Review property insurance submissions, conduct detailed risk assessments, and make informed decisions in line with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of property accounts, monitor performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximise profitability.

Requirements:

  • Relevant insurance qualifications or an appetite to obtain qualifications if coming from outside the market.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting property insurance.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships within the broker market.
