The role of Technical Director of Electrical Engineering is a senior-level position that requires strategic leadership and technical expertise.
As the primary authority for Electrical Engineering Design, you will be responsible for developing and leading this discipline across the organization, contributing to the company's future planning and ensuring efficient delivery of design services.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy Development
You will lead the development of the Electrical Engineering discipline in alignment with the company's strategic goals and local business plans.
Digitalization and Process ImprovementImplement strategies for continuous improvement and enhance the Electrical Engineering Service Delivery Platform. Create standardized workflows considering local codes and industry norms.
Governance of Design DeliverySupport sales proposals and establish project watch lists based on design challenge and risk. Influence early design stages and chair design reviews for key projects.
TroubleshootingAct as a first responder for critical electrical engineering issues across the group. Engage with senior client and internal teams to resolve issues, define corrective actions, and monitor progress.
Requirements- A passion for electrical engineering and a focus on asset safety.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 15 years of relevant industry experience, including 10+ years in senior management roles.
- Experience in Pharma, Med Tech, and Data Center industries preferred.
- Membership in a recognized engineering body.
- Strong technical, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and capable of effective collaboration.
